24/7 Access

Friday, March 20, 2020

Our building may be closed, but Forsyth Public Library is still here for you! Our online resources are available 24/7 and give you access to e-books, audio-books, magazines, music, and information. This is the perfect time to try Library on the Go/Overdrive, Cloud Library, RBdigital, Freegal, and the informational databases. Your Forsyth Public Library card is your key to accessing all these resources. Check the “materials resources” section of our database (forsythlibrary.com) to find what is available. A guide to using our digital resources is available at http://www.forsythlibrary.com/departments/library/pdf/FPL-Online-Resources-brochure.pdfIf you would prefer a paper copy, they are available at the door to the library.

With all the concerns in the world right now, you don’t need to worry about your library materials. None of the things you have checked out will be considered due during this time and overdue fines will not accrue while the library is closed. If you have requested items from our library or other libraries, your place in the holds queue will remain and you will receive the items when area-wide delivery resumes.

We also encourage you to keep an eye on our Facebook page.(https://www.facebook.com/ForsythPublicLibrary) We will keep you up to date on library news and will share ideas for things to do with your family.

We appreciate your understanding and we hope to see you in person soon!
