Library Reopens June 29

Friday, June 26, 2020

Great news! The library is reopening its doors beginning Monday, June 29, at 9 am. We will continue with our traditional hours of 9 am to 8 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; 9 am to 5 pm on Wednesday and Friday; and 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday.

In order to protect library users and staff, social distancing and disinfecting measures will be put in place. Because of this, some things will look different. Computer users will be spaced out, no toys, games, or coloring pages will be available in the Children’s Department, and visitors are requested to wear masks. Materials returned to the library will continue to be quarantined for three days before being checked in.

Even with the library’s doors open, options still remain to get materials without coming into the library. You may still call or email us with requests, and staff will set up a time to have your materials brought to your car. eResources such as Overdrive, Cloud Library and RBdigital remain as options, and library staff is available to help you get started checking out digital books and audio. As the library continues the reopening process, requests for materials from other libraries may be placed beginning July 1, and delivery of those items resumes July 6.

We look forward to welcoming back all of our wonderful patrons!
