Library will be closed March 17-21

Forsyth Public Library will be closed to the public to help slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).Closure is in effect from Tuesday, March 17 – Saturday, March 21, with any further closures to be determined on a week-by-week basis.

Library staff will continue to report to work. Materials may be returned to the outside drop boxes and no fines will be charged on materials due during this time.

All library programs scheduled for March 17-31 are postponed until later dates, including the book sale originally scheduled for March 27-28.

Forsyth Public Library offers many services online for digital download, including books, audio books, music, magazines, and reference material. We encourage our patrons to make use of our digital resources (found on our website). Please call (217-877-8174) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for help using those resources or with any questions.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we must prioritize the safety of our staff and the public. We appreciate your understanding and patronage.
