Join us for these fun events at the Forsyth Public Library:

Monday, July 9 @ 1-2 p.m. – Writer in Residence

Join local suspense author J.D. Webb to learn more about writing and becoming published. Anyone 10 and up is encouraged to meet with Mr. Webb for specialized one-on-one consultations.

Tuesday, July 10 @ 2-3 p.m. – Hanson Show

The stage comes to life with the energy, talent, and enthusiasm of this family act. Waltz in for dazzling juggling routines and gravity-defying unicycle tricks. Volunteer for a chance to survive the spine tingling Juggling Tornado of Doom and take part in juggling lessons and balance skill challenges after the show.

Wednesday, July 11 @ 9:30-10:15 a.m. - Baby TALK

Baby TALK meets every Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at Forsyth Public Library for ages birth to 3. No registration is necessary.

Wednesday, July 11 @ 12-3 p.m. – Star Lab (choose between half hour sessions)

Reach for the stars! Come marvel at the night sky in the middle of the day with Rock Spring’s Star Lab Mobile Planetarium. A member of the Nature Center staff will guide children through a stargazing adventure. Ages 10 and up. Please register in advance.

Thursday, July 12 @ 10-11 a.m. – Aircraft Story Time

Story Time fun for ages 2-6. No registration required.

Thursday, July 12 @ 6 p.m. – Food for Thought Book Group

The Secret Diary of Hendrik Groen: 83 1/4 Years Old by Hendrik Groen. No registration necessary.

Saturday, July14 @ 10 a.m. – Adult Craft: Block Printing

Learn the ancient art of block printing and gain the skills for a new hobby! Instructor Jennifer Stout will guide you through the process of carving a stamp, then making prints with your design. No experience is necessary. Participants will leave with their artwork and reusable printer’s block.
