The only remaining commercial structure in
Forsyth. Prior to 1980, a Post Office and grocery store were located
in the brick building
shown. It was built before 1915 replacing an earlier frame building, which housed
a grocery store built in 1906 that was destroyed by fire.

The Hays' family plot located on a hillside east of Rt. 51 and south
of Mound Rd. near Steven Decatur Middle School. The oldest grave dates
back to 1844. The stones mark the graves of descendants of H. Hays,
and early settler on whose property the cemetary was placed.

A pastoral scene on a farm 1/2 mile northwest of Forsyth. Note the rich
black soil of the field in the background. The pasture scene is highlighted
on the calendar by the addition of a hologram of Black Bart, a local
gentleman banditwhose home was located on the same farm.

This unusual corn crib is located on the Sibthorp farm
in hickory Point township. It is about 75 years old.
