JUST FOR TEENS
VolunTeen: I –Spy
Wednesday June 4
1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Registration required.
Teens are invited to help Mrs. Getty create “I-Spy” puzzle
boxes for special summer activities in the children’s area of the
library. All materials will be furnished; just bring your imaginations
and willingness to get a little glue on your fingers! Snack provided. Participants
must be registered for the Teen Reading Program.
VolunTeen: Pizza Party
Tuesday July 29
12:00 – 1:30 p.m.
Registration required.
Teens who have volunteered to help with programs or special library projects
are invited to attend our annual end-of-summer pizza party. We’ll
start with the traditional pizza, beverage and dessert, followed by wacky
bowling and architecture 101, the art of building with toothpicks and marshmallows. Prizes
will be awarded for originality, height and durability of the creations. |
