This spring weather has us thinking ahead to warmer months! Last week, we planted the very first seeds of our new Forsyth Public Library Community Garden. Our tomato and pepper plants are just starting to pop up, and we have BIG plans to utilize the space you see out the window for raised beds featuring produce, herbs and flowers to be enjoyed by our entire community.
Thanks to the generosity and kindness of Mary Jane Linton, we are just getting started on this journey. We want this to be a well-loved and well-used space for years to come, and we have plenty of dreams for the outdoor oasis that it could be. If your family or business would be interested in providing a financial donation to help us create the garden of our dreams, please reach out! You can call the library at 217-877-8174 or send us an email at forsythpubliclibrary1@gmail.com.
