Our Bob Cyphers: Murder & Mayhem in the Midwest author event was a huge success! Everyone was enthralled by Mr. Cyphers' stories, research and skills in putting together his true crime books, Dead End: Inside the Hunt for the I-70 Serial Killer and 25 Frozen 1 Thawed. Two of our lucky guests received signed copies of these awesome books at our event raffle. Thank you to Mr. Cyphers and his lovely wife, Alison, for an interesting and entertaining evening at the library.

Bob Cyphers: Murder & Mayhem in the Midwest
Monday, March 16 - 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Don’t miss a night with award-winning investigative reporter and author, Bob Cyphers. He will be discussing his works Dead End: Inside the Hunt for the I-70 Serial Killer (Edward R. Murrow Award winner) and 25 Frozen 1 Thawed: Murder and Mayhem in the Midwest. The main goal of the presenters books is to keep the case(s) alive and encourage new tips to bring justice to the victims.
Cyphers will discuss how he collaborates with law enforcement in order to provide and obtain new evidence, possibly generate new leads and, hopefully, get the cases he so compassionately writes about solved, bringing closure to the grieving families. The local unsolved murder of realtor, Sherry Lewis will be one of the many cases Cypher will be discussing at his presentation.

Wow! There was a ton of interest in our new Mahjong Mondays at Forsyth Public Library. The first session on April 6 is now FULL, but we are accepting names for our waitlist. Our goal is to give the first group a chance to really get the hang of how to play for a few weeks before we start gradually introducing new players.
