Final Summer Reading Wednesday Morning

The last Summer Reading Wednesday Window Painting Drop-in is today, July 9. Our custom-made Window Painting panels will be outside in front of the library for anyone to enjoy. We’ll have lots of bright paint colors and brushes to create cool art with. Want to try something else? Grab a spray bottle of water and a squeegee, clean off the window and start over again.


Macon Co. Conservation Real-Life Pokemon
Tuesday, July 8 - 2:00 p.m.
All Ages Welcome!
Today's the day, Pokemon Trainers! Come to the library and learn about the real-life animal equivalent of some of your favorite Pokémon. This fun, educational program is open to all ages. If you Pokemon GO!, be sure to check outside around the library because you know you Gotta Catch 'Em All!

Design Your Own Puzzle Drop-in
Saturday, July 12
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Grab a blank 16 piece puzzle, have a seat and use our markers, crayons and pencils to draw or write whatever you like. Take it apart and put it together again or slip it into an envelope and give it to a favorite person. You can even write a special note on the back! All ages are welcome.

All you Danny GO! fans, grab your family and friends and join us at the library for a rockin’ Dance Party! We’ll be jammin’ in the semi-dark with Glow Sticks and lots of your favorite Danny GO! videos. Come kiddy clubbing at FPL and have a great time!


Stuffy Repair Drop-in Clinic

All Stuffies Welcome!
Littles, do you have a well-loved stuffy who needs a little tender loving care? Bring them to FPL for our Stuffy Repair Clinic. Library staff will do their best to patch them up, sending your furry friends home feeling a whole lot better.

There are no Summer Reading programs this week, but we're still here for you to sign up if you haven't. Also, bring in your reading logs and get those prizes!

#4 of our 2025 Summer Reading Foodie Friday treats today is a staff favorite - Gummy Candies! They're sweet, smooshy, colorful bits of goodness! As always, the samples will be available while supplies last.

Registration Required
Our True Crime Club takes place the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 and is open to adults 18 and up. For July, we’ll be meeting on Tuesday, July 15.
Don’t miss our special July True Crime event as we have a guest presenter. Sophie Howe, Forensic Chemistry Senior at Western Illinois University, will be here to discuss several evidence testing techniques and to answer questions you may have.
