With the continued cold weather, we are seeing lots of use from our Feed the Need Food Pantry. If you are able to pick up a few extras at the grocery store to help us restock, we'd be very grateful. If you're not able to get to the store, you can always make a cash donation at the library and we'll do the shopping for you. Thank you in advance for your continued support!

This week at the library:

FPL Toy Swap
Just a few more days to bring your used toys to the library during regular hours (last day Wed., Jan. 21)
Bring your gently used toys - no more than 10 - to the circulation desk January 12 through 21 during regular library hours. You will receive one ticket for each toy, with a maximum of 10 tickets.
*Bring no more than 10 toys. Examples of toys to bring include complete puzzles, games, wooden toys, toy sets, action figures, construction toys, educational toys, physical activity toys, etc.
*No toys will be accepted the day of the swap (January 24).
*The swap is a “toy for a toy” regardless of the original cost.
*NO cloth/fabric toys or toys intended to be put in a child’s mouth (teething items, etc.). We also cannot accept "Happy Meal"-type toys.
*Toys should be clean and in working condition (no missing parts, please).
Staff reserve the right to refuse toys that do not meet the requirements.
If you would like to donate toys instead of getting tickets to swap, we will gladly accept up to 10 items that meet our requirements.
Come back with your tickets on Saturday, January 24 and "shop" for some new-to-you toys from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Any leftover toys will be made available to the public at 11:30 a.m.

Here at Forsyth Public Library, we love being part of a fantastic local library community! There are so many great programs and resources available at our surrounding libraries, and you don't have to be a library card holder to participate. Take a look at these fun classes at @Barclay, @Maroa and @Mt. Zion.
