Family Game Night
Tuesday, January 14 - 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
All Are Welcome!
Grab the family and join us for Family Game Night at the library. We'll have lots of games, such as Tetra Tower, Trash Pandas, Slamwich, and many more to choose from. Come let your competitive side out and have a good time! We’ll have something for all ages and skill levels.

Calling all Freida McFadden fans! This week, FPL's Food for Thought Book Club will be discussing Never Lie and we'd love to have you join us on Thursday, January 9 at 6 PM (note: new later time) for a light meal and a lively discussion. No registration is required - just stop in!
Have you thought about joining one of our Book Clubs but weren't sure if you could fit something else into your calendar? Please remember - it's a book club, not a life-long commitment! You're more than welcome to pop in when there's a title or author that you're particularly interested in and then opt out if your schedule gets too busy. We won't judge!

Come play Hide 'n Seek with Frosty and his Friends!

Community Watch will not be held this month. Join us Tuesday, February 4 at 4:00 p.m. in the Community Room for our first meeting of 2025. Thank you!

All Ages Welcome!
Stop in, grab a blank 16 piece puzzle, have a seat and use our markers, crayons and pencils to draw or write whatever you like. Take it apart and put it together again or slip it into an envelope and give it to a favorite person. You can even write a special note
on the back!

The weather has calmed and the roads are passable. Come on in and see us!

Adult True Crime Club
Tuesday, January 21 - Age 18+
5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The True Crime Club won’t be just another book club. We’re looking for out-of-the-box ideas on all things criminal, such as watching & discussing documentaries, solving murder mysteries in-house, and, of course, reading now & then.
Anyone 18+ who enjoys a good mystery is welcome to attend. We’d love your input!

Come shake, rattle and roll with us during Story Time with Miss Kelsey on Friday, January 10. January the 8th is the birthday of the King of Rock 'n Roll, Elvis Presley, so let's celebrate with some cool stories, activities and a craft that just might make you wanna dance. It's gonna be a rockin' good time had by all.

Due to the weather, Forsyth Public Library is closed Monday, January 6. Stay safe!

Join us for some new cool themes, great stories and books, plus the ever-popular in-house craft for the kids to complete and take home. Our first theme is about Winter so put on your warmest clothes and venture out to see us. It's never too cold for a heart-warming good time at the library.

This week's activities at the Forsyth Public Library:

Forsyth Public Library is thrilled to be partnering with Maroa Public Library on our very first combined Winter Reading Challenge - just for students at Maroa-Forsyth Grade School! MFGS students in grades PreK - 5 can participate in the challenge by spending 15 minutes reading a book that fits each category on the board. Once your young reader has completed a BINGO (across, down or diagonal), they can return the completed Winter Reading Challenge sheet to *either* the Forsyth Public Library OR the Maroa Public Library by January 17 to earn a prize and get their name entered into a drawing for our BIG Winter Reading gift basket. Happy reading!
