Are YOU smarter than a Maroa-Forsyth 5th Grader? Probably not - unless you know how to research using databases! This week, Forsyth Public Library staff went into the MFGS 5th grade classrooms to teach them how to research their subject using the new Illinois State Library databases. These databases provide accurate, age-appropriate information including articles, encyclopedia entries and even e-books for all levels - from elementary students through adults. Would you like to explore the database options available FREE just using your FPL library card? Head to https://www.forsythlibrary.com/o/fpl/page/databases to see all of the options available. Next week, our 5th grade friends will visit FPL to take a tour and find books on their topic. We're looking forward to their Wax Museum presentations here in the library later this spring!
