Did you know that your Forsyth Public Library card allows you to read the Herald & Review for FREE every single day from the comfort of your home?
First, go the Forsyth Library’s website: www.forsythlibrary.com. On the toolbar at the top of the page, click on Resources. Then select Online Resources from the dropdown menu. The top option is Newsbank Herald &Review. Click on it.
In the box, you will type your Forsyth Library card number. Then click enter. Select the second Herald & Review on the list. It should say that it’s 2022 - Current and under format will say Image. Then select the date of the issue you want to read. Once it loads, you can Zoom in to make the text the size that works best for you.
Prefer a paper copy? Grab a cup of coffee from our free coffee bar and read the Herald & Review, Wall Street Journal, Decatur Tribune, State Journal Register, USA Today, Investor Business Daily and more in the library.

Take Your Child to the Library Day
Saturday, February 1 during regular library hours
On February 1, 2025, over 650 libraries across the US and Canada will celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day. Now in its 14th year, this annual event is a wonderful opportunity for littles to have fun while their bigs learn more about their library. Libraries help families build a love of learning with access to books, story times, children’s and adult programs, technology, homework help, online resources, fun, safe spaces, and more.

Groundhog Day is February 2 and we're hoping Punxsutawney Phil doesn't see his shadow. After all, nobody wants another 6 weeks of winter. We DO, however, want more Story Time with Miss Kelsey and her fun books, activities and crafts! Don't miss out on the last one in January and on learning all about Groundhog Day.

Congrats to Olivia! She was the winner of Winter Reading Challenge for students at Maroa-Forsyth Grade School sponsored by Forsyth Public Library and Maroa Public Library. Great job to all of our readers!!
